With the amenities industry growing at a rapid pace in the Middle East, Sysco Guest Supply Europe has appointed a new Business Development Manager to be based in Dubai.
Mr T.R. Madanlal, known to the industry as Lal, will oversee operations across the Emirates whilst also acting as the official Middle East representative for a significant catalogue of branded amenities. These include the luxury brand Bulgari and other well known names such as Crabtree & Evelyn, Dorothy Prentice, Acca Kappa, Pecksniff’s and Agraria.
With 12 years experience in the Middle East hotel and leisure industry, Lal brings a significant depth of understanding in terms of brand awareness and the requirements of high end properties.
Ken Wharton, Managing Director and Vice President of Operations for Sysco Guest Supply Europe, is confident that the new appointment will further expand upon the company’s existing hotel business in the Middle East. “We have an ever growing client base in the region and the acquisition of a locally based Business Development Manager is a natural progression for the company”.
Sysco Guest Supply has been in operation for over 30 years and has a number of contracts to supply major global hotel chains with in-room amenities and accessories on a worldwide basis.
